Sam McDermott is a licensed professional engineer in Ontario with over 30 years of leadership experience in the manufacturing and energy sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Masters of Advanced Design and Manufacturing post-graduate degree from the University of Toronto.

He currently works for Enbridge Gas Inc. in the energy sector as the Technical Manager for Customer Innovation Solutions on the Business Development and Strategy team. Over the past 20 years at Enbridge Gas Inc., he has held several leadership roles in engineering, operations and business development focused on the company's hydrogen portfolio.
