Zero Emission Bus Simulation Modeller

The Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC) is currently seeking to hire a Zero-Emissions Bus (ZEB) Simulation Modeller to work with our dynamic research team involved in ZEB performance modelling to aid cities and transit agencies across Canada and the US plan their fleet electrification.

The Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Simulation Modeller will grow to be an integral team member of CUTRIC’s research team.

The Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Simulation Modeller will need to become familiar with all of CUTRIC’s modelling projects in the low-carbon smart mobility sector in North America. The Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Simulation Modeller will liaise with CUTRIC team members across Canada, in English, to undertake project activities as required.

The Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Simulation Modeller will be expected to communicate openly, regularly, professionally, and transparently with colleagues and external stakeholders on a regular basis to develop positive member and stakeholder relations over the long-term.


Salary Range
$60,000-$65,000 depending on education, experience and aptitude.

From a technical perspective, the Electrical Engineer: Zero-Emissions Transit Solutions will be an established technical resource. In addition, the Electrical Engineer will provide input in client and stakeholder meetings, representing and championing our brand and mission objectives.

Business Development & Member Engagement Officer

The Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC) is currently seeking to hire an experienced Business Development and Member Engagement Officer to help source new membership sales opportunities, engage with potential member organizations to introduce our value proposition, secure new and renewed membership agreements, strategize membership customer base expansion, generate new leads and customer engagement, and manage member retention.

Reporting to the Director, Membership, Marketing and Communications the Business Development & Member Engagement Officer will grow to be an integral team member of CUTRIC’s commercialization and research team.

Working closely with the extended CUTRIC team across Canada, the Business Development & Member Engagement Officer is responsible for developing and implementing practices, policies, procedures and tools with respect to all aspects of membership acquisition and retention. This includes using and improving the current membership acquisition process, developing new targets, as well as identifying challenges and other barriers to success and developing solutions to those problems.

Salary Range
Basic salary $50, 000 per annum plus:
30% of all sales made (average new membership sales constitute $100,000/annum)
30% of retained “at risk” renewal members in from Q3-Q4 per annum
Automatic 10% bonus of renewed membership revenues for memberships closed in the prior fiscal year by the end of Q2

The Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC) is currently seeking to hire a Project Manager: Sustainable Transit Initiatives to work with our dynamic research team involved in consortium-based transit electrification and commercialization projects.

The Project Manager: Sustainable Transit Initiatives will be expected to lead two of CUTRIC’s critical commercialization projects by carrying various tasks in a highly independent, accountable, professional, and responsible manner:



The Project Manager: Sustainable Transit Initiatives will also support the design of innovative and cutting-edge content related to hydrogen electric buses and allied systems for CUTRIC’s monthly Zero-Emissions Bus (ZEB) Committee, its regular Power Providers & Utilities Transit Decarbonization Committee (for utility-led transit electrification), its conferences, and its quarterly Members’ Meetings.

Salary Range
$72,000-$80,000 depending on education, experience, and aptitude
