Darren Ridings, Senior Manager, Transit Vehicle Maintenance for Mississauga Transit (MiWay) having over 40 years of experience in the transit, automotive and airline industries with senior level leadership experience over the past 25 years.

In his 9th year with the City of Mississauga, Darren is MiWay’s lead in the Pan-Canadian Battery Electric Bus Demonstration & Integration Trial to integrate the largest fleet of Fuel Cell Electric Buses (FCEB) in Ontario to position MiWay as a leader in FCEB technology in the City’s transition plan towards low carbon emissions. Both low carbon trials include being an intricate leading member of the Mississauga Facilities team to retrofit 2 separate MiWay campuses to support both propulsion technologies.
