Dr. Josipa Petrunic is President & CEO of CUTRIC, leading Canada’s national zero-emissions transit technology programs. She designed and launched the Pan-Canadian Electric Bus Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phases I-II), the Pan-Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Demonstration & Integration Trial (Phase I) and developed TRiPSIMTM, Canada’s first electric bus modelling tool.

Under her leadership, CUTRIC has grown from five founding members to more than 130 members across North America, overseeing projects valued at over $50 million. Named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2018, Josipa holds a PhD in Science and Technology Studies from University of Edinburgh.
