Spend the day with our CUTRIC team. And bring your resume.
Our team is hiring. As part of our talent recruitment process, we are welcoming both past and future candidates to attend the 2nd Annual Western Transit Innovation Summit in Okotoks, Alberta this month, to meet our Chief of Staff, Caren Moss, and to network with our team members on site.
The full day, at the recruit rate
Every session, the networking lunch and the closing reception. The same access as a full price delegate.
Code RECRUIT60Four steps, one day
Registered at $60
Recruit places were offered at $60 instead of $550. Registration is now closed.
Bring your resume
Candidates brought two printed copies with them. There was no application form to complete beforehand.
Meet the team on site
Candidates met Caren Moss and the CUTRIC team at the registration table. Our team is still hiring, so write to us about current roles.
See the work first hand
Candidates sat in on the sessions, met the agencies CUTRIC works with and saw the work first hand.
We are recruiting across several roles
CUTRIC will be hiring for several new positions this year, ranging from project and business development coordinators to membership engagement officers and project managers. These positions will allow new recruits to learn about transit innovation and technologies.
We encourage candidates to connect with our team online ahead of time and to watch our website for job postings this fall.
Recruits are welcome whether or not they have applied to CUTRIC before. Attending the summit is not an application and does not guarantee an interview.
Chief of Staff, Caren Moss
Caren Moss
Chief of Staff, CUTRIC
Caren will be on site for the full day. Recruits are welcome to introduce themselves, hand over a resume and talk through what working at CUTRIC involves. Team members Mohammad Kharouf, Alexis Dunphy, Jess Smith, Majdi El-Sadek and Jessica Hanson will also be in the room, so there is time to ask about the projects, the pace and the culture before deciding whether to apply.
Twenty-seven speakers, one day
Leaders from transit agencies, utilities, manufacturers and universities across Western Canada. Come and learn about the projects CUTRIC designs and launches nationally: zero emissions technology, inductive charging, hydrogen buses, big data in transit, cybersecurity and social shuttle services supporting students, migrant workers and economic tourists.

Questions and answers
No. We are welcoming both past and future candidates, so the recruit rate is open to anyone considering a career at CUTRIC.
No. This is an open day at a working conference, not a formal interview and not an application. Recruits meet the team, hand over a resume and see the organization at work. Any interview would be arranged separately through the normal hiring process.
Full access to every session on September 23, 2026, the networking lunch and the closing reception. It is the same access a full price delegate receives. Travel and accommodation are not included.
Yes. The room is a mix of transit agencies, utilities, manufacturers and universities, so it is a useful day for anyone building a career in transportation, engineering, energy or public policy, whatever stage they are at.
Bring two printed copies of your resume. Business casual is the norm in the room. There is no need for a suit.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Ask for Caren Moss at the CUTRIC table when you collect your badge. Staff are in the room for the whole day, and the breaks and the lunch are the easiest times to talk.
September 19, 2026, or earlier if the recruit places are taken. Places are limited.
The recruit ticket follows the same policy as a standard WTIS ticket. For anything about a booking, including transfers, email [email protected].
