Our Annual Smart Rail Innovation Conference is 80% sold out

We are just two weeks away from Canada’s biggest Rail Innovation Conference and we are almost sold out!

In recent discussions, there has been much debate about why Canada is so far behind the rest of the world when it comes to rail innovation. Our rail industry is full of smart, visionary and innovative ideas but we can’t seem to get these innovations off the ground.

During our conference, our panelists will explore these ideas in detail and discuss lessons learned and opportunities identified globally for rail innovation.

We are just as excited to announce our newest speaker, Hon. Devin Dreeshen, Minister of Transportation, Alberta. Minister Dreeshen will be participating in a fireside chat with CUTRIC’s President and CEO to discuss the current and future landscape of rail innovation in Alberta.

Our panels:

  • Fast Tracks or Frequent Stops: Transforming Canada’s rapid rail landscape

  • Riding the Rails: Exploring the Opportunities and Challenges of Light Rail Transit in Canada

  • Rails, Bytes, and Beyond: Operational Efficiency in Canadian Railways

  • All Aboard the Hydrogen Express: Fueling Sustainable Rail Travel in Canada and Beyond

  • Rails, Rules, and Regulations: Crafting Policy and Standards for Canada’s Railways

  • Charging the Future – Battery Electric Buses and Rail Station Integration

Make sure you secure your spot for this not-to-be-missed event!

Rail Innovation Program 2024: High Speed vs High Frequency Rail Policy in Canada

The final session of our Smart Rail Innovation Program took place earlier this month and discussed high speed rail vs high frequency rail policy in Canada. It was a great session that garnered some great discussion points and questions.

In case you missed it, you can watch the full recording here.
