Innovation P3 Model for Canada: Meeting #3

  • CUTRIC 1 Yonge Street, Suite 1801 Toronto Canada (map)

Dear CUTRIC Member, Project Stakeholder or Allied (Project) Entity:

CUTRIC-CRITUC is inviting interested transit agencies, utilities, original equipment manufacturers and allied industry stakeholders to the 3rd Session for the Canadian Innovation P3 Model.

This series is dedicated to discussing and developing unique business models between public sector and private enterprise to nurture and support CUTRIC's innovation based transit projects which include CUTRIC's Pan-Canadian Electric Bus Demonstration & Integration Trial, Pan-Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Demonstration & Integration Trial, and National Smart Vehicle Project, respectively.

A key objective of this project is to look beyond public funds for the project development and launch of innovation projects. This new CUTRIC initiative intends to extend the format of Public- Private-Partnerships to absorb and commercialize innovative, state-of-the-art technologies.

In the immediate short-term, we are seeking a potential financing, operations and maintenance P3 solution for our Pan-Canadian Electric Bus Demonstration & Integration Trial: Phase I in Ontario. However, opportunities allied to the Fuel Cell Bus and Smart Vehicle Project are not far behind either.
